Malina Omut is an artist and illustrator specializing in editorial illustration, surface design and hand lettering. She works digitally and traditionally in a wide range of media, from screen printing and painting to sculpture and textiles.
Her work reveals a delightful sense of whimsy and a keen wit, expressed through elaborate and imaginative landscapes as well as singular images that reflect an offbeat and playful view of everyday life. She has expressed this unique vision through limited edition screen prints for galleries, repeat patterns for fashion and design, editorial and advertising work for publication, event posters, greeting cards, and even a limited edition of stuffed toys. Her artwork has been exhibited in galleries around the world, including the United States, China, Slovenia, Belgium, Germany and Romania.
